Defence Minister Rajnath Singh felicitated over 300 war-veterans of the 1971 Liberation War of Bangladesh in Assam on 23 April 2022.
On the occasion, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also released a book ‘The Bravehearts of 1971’.
The book discusses a war between West Pakistan (now Pakistan) and East Pakistan (now Bangladesh).
It resulted in Bangladesh’s independence from Pakistan.
