Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the country’s largest rubber dam and a steel bridge over the Falgu River near Vishnupad temple in Gaya.
Gaya is the land of salvation (moksha). Lakhs of pilgrims from across the country and abroad come to Gaya to perform ‘pindadaan’ rituals.
The dam has been built at an estimated cost of ₹324crore.
