  • Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the country’s largest rubber dam and a steel bridge over the Falgu River near Vishnupad temple in Gaya.
  • Gaya is the land of salvation (moksha). Lakhs of pilgrims from across the country and abroad come to Gaya to perform ‘pindadaan’ rituals.
  • The dam has been built at an estimated cost of ₹324crore.
