  • The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has signed a ₹270 crore sponsorship agreement with Google’s AI platform Gemini ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL).
  • The deal comes after the government banned real-money gaming platforms, forcing the BCCI to replace Dream11 as the jersey sponsor last year. Apollo Tyres had subsequently taken over the sponsorship for ₹579 crore.
  • With Tata Group holding the IPL title sponsorship, the latest agreement highlights the growing presence of AI companies in Indian cricket sponsorships.
