The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has turned down the ICC’s appeal to reconsider its stance on participating in the T20 World Cup 2026 in India. Bangladesh reiterated that the team will not travel to India, citing security concerns. The BCB stated that both sides agreed to continue discussions to explore possible alternatives, while again requesting the ICC to consider hosting Bangladesh’s matches outside India.
