The 6th Badminton Asia Team Championships have begun in Qingdao, China, featuring top men’s and women’s teams from across the continent. India’s women’s team will defend their title without PV Sindhu, fielding a young squad in a tough group with Thailand and Myanmar. The men’s team faces Japan and Singapore, led by Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy and the doubles pair Satwik–Chirag. The biennial event is a key platform for Asian team supremacy and global ranking momentum.
