Dahiya played 19 ODIs and 2 Test matches for India; had a strong domestic career with Delhi.
Coached Delhi to the Ranji Trophy title in the 2007-08 season after retirement from cricket.
Matthew Hayden, former Australian batting legend, was also recently added as batting coach.
