Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Union Civil Aviation Minister, launched the Krishi Udan 2.0 scheme.
Under this scheme cargo-related infrastructure will be built in airports of north-east, hilly and tribal regions to assist farmers in transporting agriculture products.
The scheme is being launched to move farmers up the value chain, increase their income, and allow them to get their produce, particularly perishable produce, to market on time.
