  • Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Union Civil Aviation Minister, launched the Krishi Udan 2.0 scheme.
  • Under this scheme cargo-related infrastructure will be built in airports of north-east, hilly and tribal regions to assist farmers in transporting agriculture products.
  • The scheme is being launched to move farmers up the value chain, increase their income, and allow them to get their produce, particularly perishable produce, to market on time.
