  • The Assam government launched the first phase of 'Gunotsav 2025' under which the performance of 14 lakh students in 16,000 government schools in 11 districts will be evaluated.
  • The initiative covers all government primary and secondary schools in Assam.
  • External evaluators such as the chief minister, MLAs, chief secretary, college teachers, and government officials will visit schools for the evaluation process.
  • The three-day initiative will conclude on 9th January 2025.
