The Assam government launched the first phase of 'Gunotsav 2025' under which the performance of 14 lakh students in 16,000 government schools in 11 districts will be evaluated.
The initiative covers all government primary and secondary schools in Assam.
External evaluators such as the chief minister, MLAs, chief secretary, college teachers, and government officials will visit schools for the evaluation process.
The three-day initiative will conclude on 9th January 2025.
