Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya inaugurated Sanskaar Shaala, a value-based education programme for children aged 4–14, in Guwahati. The initiative aims to complement formal education by instilling Indian cultural values, moral discipline and social responsibility. Emphasising ancient Indian wisdom from texts like the Vedas and Gita, the Governor highlighted the role of values in shaping character and social harmony, while stressing the need to balance modern progress with ethics and compassion.
