Asmita Dey wins gold in Junior Asia Cup Judo Championship 2023

In a display of skill and determination, Tripura's Asmita Dey clinched gold medal in the Junior Asia Cup Judo Championships in Macau, China.
Asmita Dey competed in women’s 48 kg in the "Macau Junior Judo Championship 2023," held in Macau, China, on July 23.
Asmita carried her winning momentum into the final showdown, where she outperformed another Australian, Anneliese Fielder, to secure the gold medal in the fiercely contested 48 kg category.
Asmita Dey took part in the Junior Asian Judo Championships 2023 in the 48 kg category, facing competitors from 27 diverse countries, including Korea, Bhutan, Iraq, America, and many more.
In addition to her gold medal at the Junior Asian Judo Championships 2023 in Macau, China, she had secured a silver medal at the Asian Open 2023 held in Kuwait City in April of this year and a bronze medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2022.
