In Ladakh, the Apricot Blossom Festival 2025, also known as Chuli Mendok, began with a vibrant inauguration ceremony in the Sanjak village of Kargil, organized by the tourism department; it highlighted the region's cultural heritage and tourism potential.
This festival will continue until April 21, 2025, featuring cultural programs and exhibitions at various locations including Garkon, Hardas, Shilichche, Gongma Minji, and Karakichhu, which will promote local traditions and natural beauty.
