Andhra Pradesh has emerged as India’s top investment destination in FY26, capturing 25.3% of total proposed investments in the first nine months, according to a Bank of Baroda report. The state led ahead of Odisha and Maharashtra, reflecting a shift of industrial momentum towards eastern and southern India. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu attributed the surge to policy reforms and improved ease of doing business, reinforcing investor confidence and prospects for sustained growth.
