  • The Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, inaugurated the “Amrit Samagam”, a conference of tourism and culture ministers of the country, held in New Delhi.
  • The two-day conference has been organised by the Ministry of Culture on April 12 and 13, 2022, as a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. 
  • The purpose of this conference is to deliberate on the progress of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav so far, and gather best practices and idea on the strategies to be adopted for the remaining period of the celebration, especially for upcoming crucial initiatives.
