Aleksander Ceferin was re-elected unopposed as UEFA president at the Ordinary Congress of European Soccer's governing body in Lisbon.
The Slovenian Aleksander Ceferin has been re-elected to a four-year term that will last until 2027.
Ceferin was elected as UEFA's seventh president in 2016 to replace Michel Platini, who was barred from football administration in 2015 for ethics violations and was forced to resign from UEFA in 2016 after losing an appeal against his ban.
Ceferin, a lawyer, was first re-elected unopposed for a four-year term in 2019.
The UEFA Champions League is an annual club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations and contested by top-division European clubs, deciding the competition winners through a round robin group stage to qualify for a double-legged knockout format, and a single leg final.
