Aparesh Kumar Singh, a judge of the Jharkhand high court, has been appointed as the chief justice of the Tripura high court.
Singh has replaced acting chief justice of Tripura high court, T Amarnath Goud, who assumed office in last November.
Singh has earlier practiced at the Patna and Jharkhand high courts as an advocate since 1990.
He was appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Jharkhand on 24th January 2012 and confirmed as permanent Judge on 16th January 2014.
He has also served as the Acting Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court from the 20th of December, 2022 to the 19th of February, 2023.
