The Ahmedabad team of the Indian Premier League has been named as Gujarat Titans.
The name of the franchise was unveiled ahead of the 2nd ODI between India and West Indies in Ahmedabad.
The Ahmedabad team of the Indian Premier League will be led by Hardik Pandya.
The franchise, which is owned by private equity firm CVC Capital, said that the name was chosen to pay tribute to the state’s rich cricketing legacy.
The naming of the Ahmedabad franchise comes days after Lucknow, owned by RPSG Group, announced its official name as Lucknow Super Giants. KL Rahul is leading the Lucknow team.
