The city of Taj Mahal, Agra, has become the first city in the country to have vacuum-based sewers.
These vacuums will be used in public places.
The work of sewer connection is estimated at Rs 100 crore.
Sixty thousand houses have been connected with a 53 km long sewer line.
It will be maintained by a company from Netherlands.
