The teams of Britain and Germany jointly secured third place.
In the individual competition, Officer Cadet Lucy Bell of Britain stood first in the women's category and Seaman Gorkunov Petr of Russia stood first in the men's category.
Teams from 20 countries participated in the 'Admiral's Cup' organized by the Indian Navy.
It was a sailing competition.
