Veteran actor Manoj Kumar, known as 'Bharat Kumar' for his patriotic films like Upkar, Purab-Paschim, and Kranti, passed away at the age of 87 in Mumbai.
He was honored with the Padma Shri in 1992 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2016; he also won 7 Filmfare Awards, including 4 for Upkar alone.
