Recently the Global Road Safety Report was released.
This report was released by the World Health Organization.
According to this report, the annual number of deaths due to road traffic has decreased by 5 percent.
The number of road traffic deaths has reached 1.19 million.
According to the report, the number of road accidents has decreased in the world while it has increased in India.
The number of deaths due to road accidents in India in the year 2018 was 150785 and in 2021 it has increased to 153792.
Deaths due to road accidents have decreased by more than 50% in 10 countries.
35 countries have reduced deaths due to road accidents by 30% to 50%.
According to the report, 28% of global road traffic deaths have occurred in the South-East Asia region.
