Recently the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) released data on food adulteration in the country.
According to these figures, Hyderabad ranks first in the country in cases of food adulteration.
During the year 2022, a total of 291 cases related to food adulteration were reported across 19 major cities in India.
Of these, 246 cases came from Hyderabad.
After Hyderabad of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh is at second place in terms of adulteration.
