  • According to these figures, Hyderabad ranks first in the country in cases of food adulteration.
  • During the year 2022, a total of 291 cases related to food adulteration were reported across 19 major cities in India.
  • Of these, 246 cases came from Hyderabad.
  • After Hyderabad of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh is at second place in terms of adulteration.
