The 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention will be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha from 8 to 10 January 2025. The theme of this year's convention is Diaspora's Contribution to a Viksit Bharat'.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) is the highest honour given to overseas Indians.
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrated by the Government of India on 9th January every second year.
It was on this day that Mahatma Gandhi returned home from South Africa. The celebration of this day started in 2003.
