On 23 September 2025, the 10th National Ayurveda Day was celebrated at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa, with the theme “Ayurveda for People and Planet.” On this occasion, Ayurveda was highlighted as a solution for health and environmental balance. The Governor of Goa described it as a global health movement and welcomed the establishment of the Integrative Oncology Unit. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant emphasized the relevance of Ayurveda in treating lifestyle-related diseases. The National Dhanwantari Ayurveda Awards 2025 were conferred upon Prof. Banwarilal Gaur, Vaidya Neelakanthan Moos E.T., and Vaidya Bhavana Prasher. Several new initiatives and research publications were also launched during the event.
