The UP Police Constable Recruitment 2025 is a major drive by the UPPRPB to fill 32,679 vacancies across Civil Police, PAC, and Special Security Forces. The official notification was released on December 31, 2025, with the online application window open until January 30, 2026. Eligible candidates must have passed Class 12 and generally fall within the age range of 18 to 25 years (with relaxations for reserved categories). The selection process involves an offline OMR-based written exam (300 marks), followed by Physical Standard and Efficiency Tests. Essential Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed Class XII passed by a Board established by law in India or its equivalent examination recognized by the Government.
Preferential Qualifications:
• Possess \'O\' Level Certificate in Computer from DOEACC/NIELIT Society, or
• Have served for at least two years served in the Territorial Army, or
• Possess \'B\' certificate of National Cadet Corps
Age limit (As of July 1, 2025):
Male (General/Unreserved): 18 to 22 years.
Female (General/Unreserved): 18 to 25 years.
The permitted upper age limit relaxations are as follows:

UP Police Constable : Physical Efficiency Test
• The candidates found successful in the scrutiny of records and in the physical standard test will be expected to appear in the physical efficiency test which will be of qualifying nature.
• To be successful in the Physical Efficiency Test, a Male Candidate will have to Run a 4.8 km run in 25 minutes and a Female Candidate will have to Run a 2.4 km run in 14 minutes.
Schemes of the UP Police Constable Selection Procedure:
The recruitment follows a four-stage process:
Written Examination: An objective-type test to shortlist candidates.
Document Verification (DV) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Verification of original documents and measurement of height/chest/weight.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): A qualifying running test.
Males: 4.8 km in 25 minutes.
Females: 2.4 km in 14 minutes.
Medical Examination: Final health check-up before the merit list.

Fee Payable by Candidates for UP Police Constable Exam:
For candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories: ₹500.
For candidates from the SC /ST categories and Female candidates: ₹400.

You can pay online using a Debit Card (RuPay, Visa, MasterCard, or Maestro), Credit Card, or Internet Banking. Additionally, UPI payments are supported for a more convenient transaction.
Note: Please keep in mind that the last date for fee payment is January 30, 2026. The board also provides a short window until February 2, 2026, specifically for the "adjustment" of fees if your payment was deducted but not immediately updated on the official portal.

1- One-Time Registration (OTR): Visit uppbpb.gov.in and complete the mandatory OTR using your Aadhaar-linked details.
2- Fill Application: Log in with your OTR credentials and fill in the personal and educational details.
3- Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and required certificates (10th/12th marksheet, Caste certificate, etc.).
4- Pay Fee: Pay the application fee (₹500 for General/OBC; ₹400 for SC/ST/Female).
