DSSSB or Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board conducts recruitment exams for various positions under several divisions/departments of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi's (GNCT Delhi). Every year, the DSSSB board issues an official notification announcing various vacancies for various positions. DSSSB recruiting exams are held to fill vacancies in DoE and MCD departments for the positions of Assistant Teacher (Primary) and Assistant Teacher (Nursery). A total of 1455 vacancies have been released for the DSSSB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2023. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online for DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) by using the official website. For the DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) 2023 exam, applicants should not exceed the ages of 30 years. The DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary and Nursery) is only One Tier examination process. The One Tier examination is divided into two Sections: Sections A and Section B. Essential Educational Qualifications:
(A) For DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Nursery)-Female - [Post Code: 817/23 & Department Name: Municipal Corporations of Delhi]
i. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/University.
ii. Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years or B. Ed.(Nursery) from a recognized Institute.
iii. Must have passed Hindi at secondary level.
(B) For DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Nursery) - [Post Code: 817/23 & Department: Directorate of Education]
i. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or
Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/University.
ii. Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than
two years or B. Ed.(Nursery)from a recognized Institute.
iii. Must have passed Hindi at secondary level.
(C) For DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary) - [Post Code: 877/23 & Department: New Delhi Municipal Council]
i. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent
with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/University.
ii. Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than
two years or B. Ed.(Nursery) from a recognized Institute.
iii. Must have passed Hindi at secondary level.

The age limit of the applicants should be not exceeding 30 Years.

Important Note:
I. The questions on the papers will be of the objective type.
II. Each question will be carried one mark.
III. Each incorrect answer will 0.25 marks deduction.
IV. Except for the Language papers, all examination questions will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
V. For applicants of Teaching / Technical post code 817/23, the mandatory minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I Examinations will be applicable only in r/o Section-B which is domain subject specific. There will not be any minimum qualifying marks in Section-A.
However, combined aggregate marks of both Section-A & Section-B will be reckoned for preparing the final merit list.
Eligibility Criteria for Qualifying:
Minimum percentage of marks required for eligibility in various categories:
• UR/EWS- 40 percent
• OBC - 35 percent
• SC/ ST/ PH - 30 percent
• Ex-Servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30 percent.
