The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC GD Constable exam, which is a national-level examination to recruit candidates for the General Duty post of Constables (GD) in the BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, and Rifleman. Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23 and have completed Class 10 from a recognized board to be eligible for this SSC GD Constable recruitment. Candidates who apply for the SSC GD Constable will be subjected to a three-stage selection process (Computer Based Examination, PET/ PST or Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination) (RME)). The SSC GD Constable Exam will be held online as a computer-based examination (CBE). The written exam for the SSC GD constable will be divided into four sections: General intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and general awareness, elementary mathematics, and English/Hindi. The total time of the examination is 60 minutes. The positive marking in the examination is 2 marks and the negative marking is 0.50 marks. The online application form must be completed by applicants. An application fee is required for candidates applying for the position of SSC GD Constable Recruitment. Essential Educational Qualifications:
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
**Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply. **
Age limit:
The age limit for the posts is 18-23 years.
The candidate must be 18-23 years as on 01-01-2025 (i.e.,candidates born not before 02-01-2002 and not later than 01-01-2007).

Syllabus Computer Based Examinations:
→ General Intelligence & Reasoning:
Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non- verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.
→ General Knowledge and General Awareness:
Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
→ Elementary Mathematics:
This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
→ English/ Hindi:
Candidates' ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension would be tested.
Application Fee:
Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Mode of Payment:
Fee can be paid by the candidates through online mode only. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa,Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.

The process of filling online application for the examination consists of two parts:
I. One Time Registration
II. Filling of online Application for the Examination
Part-I (One-Time Registration)
1. Please read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before filling up the online 'Registration Form' and Application Form.
2. Before proceeding with One-Time Registration, keep the following information/ documents ready: a. Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)
b. Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
c. Aadhaar Number. If Aadhaar Number is not available, please give one of the following ID Numbers. (You will be required to show the original document at a later stage):
i. Voter ID Card
ii. PAN
iii. Passport
iv. Driving License
v. School/ College ID
vi. Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)
d. Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.
e. Scanned color passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). Applications with a blurred photographs will be rejected.
f. Scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB). Image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 3.0 cm (height). Applications with blurred signatures will be rejected.
g. Disability Certificate Number, if you are a person with benchmark disability.
Part-II (Online Application Form)
