AISSEE(All India Sainik School Entrance Exam) is an entrance test for candidates who are seeking admission to Sainik schools for classes 6th and 9th. AISSEE is conducted by Sainik Schools Society. Selection of applicants will be made on the basis of their marks obtained in the written entrance exam in the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE). Sainik Schools are residential schools (for only boys) that are affiliated with CBSE. The purpose of Sainik schools is to prepare Cadets to join the National Defence Academy. It enables boys from economically weaker sections of society to take up an illustrious career as officers in the Armed Forces of the Nation and other celebrated professions.

Eligibility Criteria for Sainik School Class IX:
Age Limit (as on 31 March 2022) for Sainik School Class IX
The age limit of the applicants for boys and girls should be between 13 years to 15 years.
*For the academic year 2022-23, students should be born between 01 April 2007 and 31 March 2009. (both date inclusive)*
*At the time of admission, he or she must have completed Class VIII from a recognized school*

Important Note:
I. The mode of examination will be an offline or pen-and-paper-based exam.
II. The question booklet provided to you will be multiple-choice or objective type.
III. The questions paper will be written in English language.
IV. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
V. A candidate is eligible for admission to the Sainik Schools if he or she scores at least 25% in each subject of the exam and 40% in the aggregate of all AISSEE 2022 subjects.
VI. Minimum qualifying standards are not given for SC/ST students because they would be admitted based on inter-se merit.

• Go to the online registration link and click on it.
• Fill out the application form with all of the required information.
• Your ID and password will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number as well as your email address. Keep them somewhere noted.
• Login with the same ID and password and fill out the remaining registration form.
• Upload the candidate's photo with the prescribed dimensions.
• Pay the application fee online using one of the digital payment options and submit your form.
• After submitting your form, you will receive an acknowledgment via SMS to your mobile number and an email to your email address.
