For the posts having Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test, the normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for shortlisting the candidates for Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test.*
Typing Skill Test (TST):
For the posts, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Time Keeper.
The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
* Typing Skill Test (TST) of qualifying nature (marks obtained in typing skill test shall not be added for making merit) shall be conducted for which the number of candidates equal to eight times the number of vacancies for each of the community shall be called for.*
* The merit will be drawn only for the candidates qualified in the TST or TST exempted PwBD candidates based on performance in 2nd Stage CBT.*
Application Fee:
1- For all candidates (except categories mentioned below).
Out of this fee of 500/-, an amount of 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank ₹500/- charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st stage СВТ.
2- For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC)*.
(Caution to Candidates: EBC should not be confused with OBC or EWS.) ₹250/-
This fee of 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.
NOTE: Only candidates on appearing in 1st stage CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.
Mode of Payment:
a) ONLINE fee payment only through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted. All applicable service charges shall be borne by the candidate.
b) Fee can be paid by the candidates through ONLINE mode only. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode.
c) Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
How to Apply
Visit the Official Portal: Go to the centralized application portal, rrbapply.gov.in, or your respective Regional RRB website.
Create an Account: Click on the "Apply" or "Create Account" link. Fill in your basic details (name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID) to register. An OTP will be sent for verification, and a Registration Number will be generated.
Login: Log in using the generated Registration Number and password.
Fill Application Form (Part I): Enter your personal information, educational qualifications, category details (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS), and other required information.
Pay Application Fee: Proceed to the payment page and pay the requisite application fee (e.g., ₹500 for General/OBC, with a refundable amount after CBT-1).
Fill Application Form (Part II): Indicate your priority/preference for the posts and choose your exam language.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of your Photograph and Signature in the specified format and size.
Submit and Print: Review all the details, confirm the declaration, and submit the application form. Download and print the submitted form for future reference.
