The Haryana Staff Selection Commission or HSSC has issued a job advertisement for the CET – Common Entrance Test and this exam is conducted by the HSSC. The CET is the process of recruitment for Group C and D posts for direct recruitment in all the Departments of the State Government or any Board, Corporation, statutory body, or any other agency owned and controlled by the State Government other than any University established by or under a State Act. To be eligible for this CET – Common Entrance Test recruitment, candidates must be between the ages max. 42 and have a passed the minimum qualification shall be 10+2 or as per provision in Service Rules for Group-C post and the same shall be Matric or as per provision in Group D Act, For Group-D posts. Candidates who apply for the CET – Common Entrance Test recruitment for group c & d post will have to go through the written examination selection processes. CET – Common Entrance Exam is a written examination that will consist of General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Science, Maths, Hindi, Computer, and Haryana General Knowledge. Applicants must complete the application form online. Candidates applying for the CET – Common Entrance Exam must pay an application fee. Age Limit:
The candidate must be at least 18 years old as on the closing date of registration.
The maximum age should not exceed 42 years as on the same date.
Age relaxation will be provided to eligible candidates as per Haryana Government rules.
Minimum Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must have either:
Passed 10+2 or equivalent, or
Passed Matric (10th) with an additional qualification
to be eligible for CET for Group C posts.
Note 1: Candidates who have not yet acquired the minimum qualification by the last date of online application submission, but are scheduled to appear for the qualifying exam in 2025, will also be considered eligible.
Note 2: Any qualification claimed to be equivalent to 10+2 will be judged based on the instructions in Haryana Govt. Notification No. 17/20/2015-3GS-II dated 22/02/2021.
Application Fee for CET:
The application fee must be paid online only using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, etc. as prescribed in Notification No. 42/119/2019-5HR-II dated 31st December,2024 Appendix A.
Note 1: A candidate who pays the fee during registration can appear once in the CET.
If a candidate wants to re-appear in the CET to improve their score (from CET 2022 held on 5th & 6th November 2022), they must pay the fee again.
Note 2: Once paid, the fee will not be refunded under any condition.
Note 3: The Commission will not be responsible for failed, unsuccessful, or pending transactions during the payment process.
