  • World Day Against Child Labor, celebrated every year on June 12, is being celebrated on Wednesday this year in 2024. The theme of the day is, “Let's deliver on our commitments: End child labour”.
  • On this day, the need for collective action is emphasized to eliminate child labor and protect children from exploitation. 
  • It encourages governments, employers, workers, civil society and people to work together to create a world free from child labour.
