·         Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has announced that he will step down as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore after the completion of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.

·         Earlier on Thursday, he had announced to step down as the national T20 captain after next month's World Cup.

·         RCB President Prathamesh Mishra said, Virat Kohli is one of the finest cricketers, and has been a true asset to RCB.
