Vikram Solar Ltd. is set to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) worth ₹2,000 crore, opening for subscription on August 19. The offering includes a fresh issue of equity shares amounting to ₹1,500 crore and an offer for sale of up to 1,74,50,882 shares by the promoter and promoter group. The price band has been fixed between ₹315 and ₹332 per share, each having a face value of ₹10. From the fresh issue proceeds, around ₹770 crore will be allocated towards partial funding of capital expenditure for Phase-I of the project through investment in its wholly owned subsidiary, VSL Green Power Pvt. Ltd., while approximately ₹595 crore will go towards Phase-II. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes. Addressing concerns over the potential impact of U.S. tariffs, CMD Gyanesh Chaudhary confirmed that the company exports nothing to the U.S., thus facing no direct effect.
