·         वयोवृद्ध पत्रकार के एम रॉय का 84 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया

·         रॉय (एक वरिष्ठ पत्रकार और एक प्रसिद्ध स्तंभकार), ने 1961 में केरलप्रकाशम के सह-संपादक के रूप में अपना करियर शुरू किया।

·         उन्होंने इकोनॉमिक टाइम्स, द हिंदू और यूएनआई न्यूज एजेंसी के साथ भी काम किया था।

·         वह सक्रिय पत्रकारिता से दैनिक मंगलम के संपादक के रूप में सेवानिवृत्त हुए।
