  • Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah chaired a review meeting on the implementation of three new criminal laws in the state in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini in New Delhi on 10 December 2024. 
  • The meeting reviewed the present status and implementation of various new provisions relating to police, prisons, courts, prosecution and forensics in Haryana. 
  • Union Home Minister Amit Shah has set a target of 100 percent implementation of three new criminal laws in Haryana by March 31, 2025 and directed all concerned departments to review them regularly. 
  • Emphasis was laid on ensuring the availability of forensic mobile vans in every district, effective monitoring of Zero FIRs, and sensitizing police personnel to deliver timely justice.
