  • Recently, Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur announced the organization of the first Khelo India Para Games.
  • These games will be organized in New Delhi.
  • It will be organized from December 10 to 17, 2023.
  • 7 sports events will be included in this.
  • The names of these events are – Para Athletics, Para Shooting, Para Archery, Para Football, Para Badminton, Para Table Tennis and Para Weight Lifting.
  • The main objective of organizing Khelo India Para Games is to identify talent and provide a fair opportunity to young and aspiring para athletes to showcase their skills.
