Telangana's new secretariat building to be named after BR Ambedkar

  • The Telangana government announced naming the newly-built state secretariat complex after Dr B R Ambedkar.
  • Tweeting from its official Twitter handle, the Telangana government has written that 'Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to name the new Telangana Secretariat, which is under construction after the world renowned intellectual, chief architect of the Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
  • With the incorporation of Article 3 in the Constitution by Dr Ambedkar, the Telangana has been formed as a separate state.
