Senior IPS officer Rajwinder Singh Bhatti appointed as CISF director General

  • Rajwinder Singh Bhatti and Daljit Singh Chaudhary have been appointed as the Directors General of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Border Security Force (BSF), respectively.
  • Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, a 1990 batch IPS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as the DG of CISF, with a tenure extending until his superannuation on September 30, 2025. 
  • He was previously involved in a significant CBI raid related to contracts facilitated by the then Principal Secretary of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
