Senior advocate Rajendra Prasad Gupta has been appointed as the new Advocate General of Rajasthan

The appointment of Rajendra Prasad Gupta marks the beginning of a new chapter as the 19th Advocate General of Rajasthan, making him act as the state's legal authority.
The role of the Advocate General is appointed under Article 165 of the Indian Constitution, which reveals its constitutional significance, which functions to give legal advice to the state government and discharge such functions as may be specified by the governor.
The selection of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Gupta is recognising his legal qualifications and experience, who are crucial for solving the difficulties of Rajasthan and giving sound advice to the state in legal matters.
As the 19th Advocate General, Gupta becomes an important legal authority in Rajasthan, responsible for providing legal counsel to the state government and representing its interests in legal matters.
