Raghuram Iyer has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Olympic Association in January 2024.
Earlier, Raghuram Iyer was associated with Rajasthan Royals team of IPL.
This appointment has been made according to the new rules prepared by the panel constituted by the Supreme Court.
According to the order, the CEO will perform the functions of the General Secretary of the union.
The Indian Olympic Association is the governing body for the Olympic Movement and the Commonwealth Games in India.
It is responsible for selecting athletes to represent India at the Olympics.
The Indian Olympic Association was established in the year 1927.
