The world famous Geeta Press is located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Recently its trustee Baijnath Aggarwal has passed away.
Presently the trustee of Geeta Press is his son Devidayal Aggarwal.
Baijnath Aggarwal was made the trustee of Geeta Press in the year 1983.
During this period, many of his decisions taken in the context of publishing books in different languages including the books published in Geeta Press and the use of new technologies have helped in taking the fame of Geeta Press even higher today.
Geeta Press has been awarded the Gandhi Peace Prize in the year 2021 by the Ministry of Culture.
Geeta Press was established in the year 1923.
