Belagavi-based Rani Channamma Mahila Cooperative Bank has been honoured with the Best Profit-Making Bank Award during the 72nd All India Cooperative Week 2025. The award was presented at a ceremony in Haveri, organised by the Karnataka State Urban Cooperative Banks Association. Bank President Preeti K. Doddawad and Vice-President Roopa J. Munavalli received the accolade, recognising the bank’s outstanding performance in FY 2024-25, with deposits of ₹402.78 crore, loans of ₹252.79 crore, and a net profit of ₹8.94 crore. The award highlights the bank’s leadership, committed staff, and focus on empowering women entrepreneurs while promoting inclusive banking.
