She was one of the most celebrated voices in Odisha, with a career spanning decades in films, devotional music, and modern albums. Patnaik became a household name for her expressive, classically trained singing style.
  • She frequently collaborated with legendary singer Akshaya Mohanty, shaping the golden era of Odia music. Her iconic song “Phur Kina Udigala Bani” from the film Jajabar remains beloved across generations. Tributes poured in from artists and leaders, marking the loss of a cultural icon whose legacy will continue to inspire Odia music.
