Now Bajra will also be included in Haryana's ‘Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana’

· From this Kharif season, the Haryana government will include the yield of Bajra under the “Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana”.

· Haryana is the first state in the country to implement “Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana”.

· Earlier, "Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana" has also been implemented for horticulture crops in Haryana. Twenty one horticultural crops have been included in this scheme.

About Kharif Season

v Kharif crops are usually sown at the beginning of the first rains during the arrival of the southwest monsoon season, and they are harvested at the end of the monsoon season.

v "Kharif" in Arabic translates as "autumn".

v End: October

v Examples: Cotton, Groundnut, Maize and Rice, etc.
