  • Australian spinner Nathan Lyon surpassed South Africa great Dale Steyn to become the 9th highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
  • Lyon now has 440 wickets, taking him past Steyn's tally of 439 Test scalps.
  • Lyon now needs three more wickets to go past fellow off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who is likely to play against Bangladesh in the Test series starting later this month.
  • Australia’s speedster Pat Cummins also became the 19th Aussie bowler to scalp 200 Test wickets.
