Namita Gokhale honored with 7th Yamin Hazarika Woman of Substance Award

·         Writer Namita Gokhale has been chosen as the recipient of the seventh Yamin Hazarika Woman of Substance Award.

·         He was recently conferred with the honor in a virtual ceremony. She is the co-founder and co-director of the Jaipur Literature Festival, the Gokhale Himalayan Echoes and the Kumaon Festival of Literature and the Arts.

About the award

v  The award was organized by a group of women professionals since the year 2015, Denips was the first woman from Northeast India to be selected for the annual award Yameen Hazarika, who administered Delhi and the Union Territories in 1977 in a Federal Police Service.
