Luxembourg to become first country in Europe to legalize cannabis

  • Luxembourg is ready to become the first European country to allow cannabis cultivation and consumption.
  • Adults over the age of 18 in Luxembourg will be able to use cannabis and grow up to four plants per household under the new legislation, making Luxembourg the first country in Europe to fully legalise the drug's cultivation and usage.
  • The new legislation has the support of the ruling coalition, but it still need a vote in parliament to be confirmed.
