  • Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has launched the Prabha Khaitan Foundation’s (PKF) Kalam website, a one-of-a-kind literary initiative to support and encourage vernacular literature.
  • The goal of Kalam is to popularise Hindi literature by giving veteran and young authors and poets a platform to discuss their work and passion for vernacular literature.
  • Since its inception in the summer of 2015 in the cities of Jaipur and Patna, Kalam has conducted over 550 sessions in over 40 cities across India and abroad.
