· प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 2 अक्टूबर, 2021 को गांधी जयंती पर एक नया डिज़ाइन किया गया ‘जल जीवन मिशन (JJM)’ मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन लॉन्च किया।
· इस मिशन एप्प द्वारा मौजूदा जल आपूर्ति प्रणालियों और पानी के कनेक्शन की कार्यक्षमता सुनिश्चित करता है जो पानी की गुणवत्ता की निगरानी और परीक्षण के साथ-साथ टिकाऊ कृषि पर नजर रखेगा ।
· JJM को 2019 में केंद्रीय जल मंत्रालय द्वारा 2024 तक ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 100 प्रतिशत कार्यात्मक नल के पानी की आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लॉन्च किया गया था।
