  • इज़राइल ने यात्रियों और कार्गो को ले जाने में सक्षम स्वायत्त ड्रोन का प्रारंभिक परीक्षण किया। 
  • सरकार के नेतृत्व वाली पायलट परियोजना, जिसे इजरायल नेशनल ड्रोन इनिशिएटिव (इंडी) के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, का उद्देश्य एक राष्ट्रीय ड्रोन नेटवर्क बनाना और ड्रोन डिलीवरी के लिए आकाश तैयार करना है।
  • यह परियोजना, परिवहन मंत्रालय, इज़राइल इनोवेशन अथॉरिटी, अयालोन हाईवेज लिमिटेड और सिविल एविएशन अथॉरिटी ऑफ इज़राइल (सीएएआई) के बीच एक संयुक्त सहयोग है, जो यहूदी राज्य में इस तरह की तकनीक के पहले उपयोग को चिह्नित करता है।
  • पिछले हफ्ते पूरे इज़राइल में परीक्षण और प्रयोगात्मक उड़ानों में 11 ड्रोन संचालन और वितरण कंपनियां शामिल थीं।
  • यह प्रयोग का दूसरा चरण है, जो जनवरी में शुरू हुआ और अगले दो वर्षों में ड्रोन बुनियादी ढांचे को विकसित करने के लिए लगभग $ 60 मिलियन का निवेश शामिल था।
