Indian Spinner Amit Mishra Announces Retirement

Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, bringing the curtains down on a career spanning over 25 years. Known for his classical leg-spin, flight and deceptive googlies, Mishra represented India in 22 Tests, 36 ODIs and 10 T20Is, claiming 156 international wickets. He made a memorable Test debut in 2008 against Australia with a five-wicket haul and was part of India’s 2013 ICC Champions Trophy-winning squad.
